Skiing in Scotland? And why not? We forget too often or you do not know, but Scotland is primarily a mountainous country. Although mountains eroded, but several massive exceed the 1000 meters in the Highlands. The ski resorts in Scotland
There are 5 ski resorts in Scotland Nevis Range (600 meters elevation), Cairngorm (600 vertical meters), Glencoe (800 vertical meters), Glenshee (500 meters elevation) and The Lecht (200 vertical meters) . Nevis Range and Glencoe offer the greatest altitude without having to use an intermediate recovery,

Weather and skiability
If we can make very good skiing in Scotland in a different atmosphere in the Alps or other mountain on the continent, conditions and snowfall can be variable, reflecting an oceanic climate mild and moist but not always cold. The weather can change very quickly, it may take somewhat opportunistic, but skiing in Scotland is an experience that's worth it for fans of skiing.
