The city of Lake Savines, from Saint-Apollinaire, on the banks of the Durance and the dam of Serre-Ponçon.
The dam of Serre-Ponçon and lake provide significant electricity generation, but also irrigate the whole of Provence. Savina is the main town on the banks of the dam, with Embrun Chorges and in a second level.

The city of Lake Savines benefits of withholding water in tourism, with many lake activities. Just like Tignes in Savoy, the main village of the town of Savines Lake was rebuilt exactly a little higher on the banks.
