The heavenly beaches of Martinique
|
The Martinique has a striking contrast to the litoral. The east coast is swept by the rollers of the Atlantic while the Caribbean coast was superbly protected and no wave. The beaches north of the island are amazing with their black volcanic sand and a rather steep slope. The southern beaches of the island offers a more idyllic with its white sand and slopes much softer.
The black sand beaches
They are located on the flanks of Mount Pelee, from Saint-Piere on the Caribbean coast, and since Macouba east.

 The peninsula of Caravelle
The Caravelle peninsula in central-east of Martinique is famous for its bath of Josephine: the water depth is surprisingly low on some of its coast. All organizers of residence will offer to go taste a little rum, the waves.
