The Czech Republic by car
If you live east of France Belgium and Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Prague are probably closer than some parts of the metropolitan area! Indeed such is Prague near Marseilles Brest! It is therefore feasible, but not for a short stay of 3 days. Include in this case at least a week, see a bit more to visit the north-west, near Karlovy Vary, and the plain south or some beautiful mountain area.
For a longer tour: visit to Bratislava, Vienna and Budapest can be very nice.
